Staff Product Manager, ChefTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the ChefTech product surface and steer the vision for the ChefOS Platform.

• Establish the roadmap and OKRs for chef onboarding, recipe and product activation, the Chef Portal, and the chef mobile application.

• Manage products comprehensively from defining problems through to launch, adoption, and iteration.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to develop and enhance chef business tools.

• Conduct interviews, surveys, and ongoing discussions with chefs to identify needs and product gaps.

• Define a cohesive chef platform and create a multi-quarter strategy to integrate separate chef tools.

• Advocate for platform investments and secure necessary resources.

• Develop a modular, white-label platform solution for restaurants and food enterprises.

• Formulate strategies for undefined challenges and clarify ambiguous issues for organizational execution.

• Create prototypes to validate ideas early and leverage AI across prototyping, drafting, research, and analysis.

• Own quantifiable outcomes such as onboarding speed, recipe-to-menu flow, tool adoption, and business support.

• Establish success metrics prior to development and communicate progress, risks, and results to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of product management experience, including ownership of a platform or multiple interconnected product lines instead of a single feature area.

• Proven track record of 0-to-1 work: tackling significant, undefined challenges and establishing direction where none existed.

• Experience leading intricate, multi-team initiatives that necessitated alignment and influence over teams you do not directly manage.

• Product judgment that senior stakeholders rely on as a strategic input.

• Proficiency in deconstructing large, ambiguous issues and providing clarity for others to comprehend.

• Exceptional communication skills across engineering, operations, and executive levels, including transforming cross-team conflicts into actionable decisions.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools in product development, with a penchant for experimenting to enhance efficiency and quality.

• This role necessitates regular in-person travel to the US.

• Bonus: experience with operational, supply chain, marketplace, or B2B platform products, or packaging an internal platform for external customer use.
