This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Comprehend user requirements and formulate long-term product strategies that address various categories of user challenges.
• Define specific product functionalities to meet user demands.
• Foster growth and utilization of Stripe Billing products.
• Engage with customers externally while collaborating internally with teams from engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and sales.
• Determine the most critical issues to address.
• Create product solutions and partner with engineering and design to outline the scope of work.
• Communicate the product vision and establish annual and quarterly objectives.
• Work collaboratively across functions to deliver solutions and ensure user success.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in product management.
• Strong technical abilities, including the capacity to deeply understand software systems.
• Proficient in developing robust integrations with the Stripe API.
• Capable of making significant contributions to high-stakes discussions regarding API design, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Demonstrated empathy towards customers across startups and large enterprises, with a focus on engineering and finance personas.
• Solid product intuition and the ability to thoroughly comprehend user needs.
• Skilled in creating delightful product experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill complex discussions, write clearly, and present to senior stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience in managing technical software products from inception to scale.
• Preferred: capability to internalize a cross-functional business and lead a comprehensive product vision.
• Preferred: experience in designing and building a multi-product platform.
• Preferred: collaboration experience across engineering, analytics, marketing, design, and sales.
• Preferred: strong written and verbal communication skills.
