Accounting and Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Review, manage, and ensure timely processing of all incoming and outgoing invoices for a designated customer group.

• Address customer-specific inquiries independently.

• Guarantee the effective and reliable execution of billing processes.

• Collaborate with colleagues from procurement, accounting, and agency teams to develop practical solutions.

• Facilitate smooth operational workflows.

• Proactively enhance existing processes and contribute personal insights.

• Prepare periodic evaluations, reports, and ad-hoc analyses.

• Support informed business decisions.

• Assume responsibility for the commercial management of customer projects.

• Work closely with media, finance, and agency teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training or a similar qualification.

• Initial professional experience in billing, accounting, accounts receivable, or accounts payable.

• Experience within an agency, media company, or a similar environment is a plus.

• Familiarity with DML is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Strong affinity for numerical data.

• Structured and analytical approach to work.

• Diligent and dependable work ethic.

• Capability to maintain an overview of complex issues.

• Proficiency in German communication at C1 level.

• Proficiency in English communication at B2 level.

• Customer-oriented mindset and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse contacts.

• Interest in business contexts, digital business models, and the media and communications industry is appreciated.
