Staff Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the product vision for the designated scope.

• Translate the company's goals, product vision, and market opportunities into a comprehensive roadmap from validation to scaled adoption.

• Establish success metrics and ensure accountability within the team.

• Foster alignment internally and externally around a future of interoperable products.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create a unified approach.

• Drive discovery processes to validate problems, solutions, and customer willingness to pay.

• Release products early, learn swiftly, and iterate based on user engagement.

• Balance transparency and interoperability with data security, partner trust, and platform governance.

• Promote post-launch adoption and take ownership of customer and business results.

• Develop insights on MCP servers, APIs, connectors, and integrations.

• Partner with engineering in API design, MCP server architecture, tool and skills framework, connectors, authentication, and data contracts.

• Design secure and trusted interoperability for AI assistants and agent frameworks.

• Comprehend enterprise customer workflows and the needs of technical stakeholders.

• Conduct discovery sessions with customers and prospects.

• Monitor the competitive and market landscape.

• Operate autonomously and identify new opportunities.

• Communicate vision, progress, and metrics effectively to executives, stakeholders, and customers.

• Serve as an internal thought leader on integration and interoperability experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and launching MCP servers, APIs, and other integrations that connect systems, preferably in an enterprise B2B SaaS environment.

• Solid understanding of API design, MCP server architecture, authentication, data contracts, and versioning.

• Familiarity with LLMs and agent frameworks.

• Technical credibility with engineers without the need to write code.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for research, creating artifacts, prototyping, and building specifications.

• Strong product judgment relating to developers, partners, and enterprise customers.

• Excellent skills in product discovery, prioritization, and execution.

• Metrics-driven mindset for defining and assessing success.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, and focused on results.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

• Openness to work from or relocate to an Ontario or British Columbia hub, within a 300 km radius of Toronto or Vancouver.
