Staff Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the longitudinal patient record as a single, reliable view of care across primary care, specialty, and hospital environments.

• Establish the vision and strategic roadmap for the longitudinal record.

• Identify high-impact issues while ensuring a balance of completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and investment.

• Define standardized representations of care events, dates, settings, providers, facilities, medications, conditions, labs, and procedures.

• Create clinically-informed guidelines for integrating sources and tracing facts back to evidence.

• Develop a consolidated record of hospitalizations, emergency department visits, and post-discharge care management.

• Assist in quality measurement (HEDIS), risk adjustment, RADV audits, payment integrity, and revenue operations.

• Oversee patient matching, deduplication, normalization, and clinical terminology mapping.

• Promote adoption through clear requirements, migration plans, and by eliminating fragmented duplicate data versions.

• Lead the Longitudinal Patient Record team and report directly to the Director of Product, Clinical Data Products.

• Collaborate with engineering, clinical teams, and data consumers throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product management, including ownership of a data platform, data model, or shared data product utilized by multiple teams.

• Proven experience in establishing product strategy for platforms with numerous internal users and making related trade-offs.

• Extensive working knowledge of healthcare data and clinical utility, including institutional and professional claims, C-CDA, FHIR resources, ADT feeds, and lab data.

• Experience in defining canonical or master data for patients, providers, facilities, encounters, and clinical concepts, along with driving adoption.

• Skills in reviewing charts, investigating discrepancies, conducting analyses, and validating definitions against actual records.

• Capability to leverage AI to expedite data tasks and verify its outputs.

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across engineering, clinical, and operations teams through influence.

• Proven business impact resulting from a data improvement initiative you managed.
