Principal Product Manager, AI Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the vision for the next iteration of Komodo Health’s product offerings.

• Create initial versions of a minimum of two new products leveraging AI tools and platform fundamentals.

• Manage a small team of four or fewer from prototype stage to full market availability without dedicated project management.

• Ensure that products deliver measurable impacts in terms of revenue, adoption, or retention within client environments.

• Integrate or phase out at least one existing solution into its successor without causing customer churn.

• Analyze customer workflows to identify necessary product offerings.

• Engage directly within customer environments to outline solutions while contracts are being negotiated.

• Propose and advocate for the development of the expanding product portfolio.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing on product packaging, market research, positioning, enablement, and sales strategies.

• Establish architectural frameworks and build patterns for related product teams.

• Act as a hands-on individual contributor throughout product development and execution rather than relying on direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of creating the initial version of a product; interview evaluations must include showcasing something developed.

• In-depth product reasoning concerning AI context and grounding, evaluations and quality checkpoints, agent behavior, and cost considerations.

• Comfortable operating within customer environments and navigating contracting cycles.

• Over 10 years of experience in product management.

• At least one product that has been conceptualized and launched, generating tangible revenue today.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Experience in healthcare or regulated data, or the ability to quickly gain fluency in a similarly complex data domain (preferred).

• Familiarity with platform transitions (preferred).

• Experience in retiring a product while maintaining customer loyalty (preferred).

• Background in interacting with, managing, or developing AI-driven workflows (preferred).
