Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the Arena UI for Gray Swan across both web and mobile platforms.

• Take ownership of the design process from initial concept sketches to production-ready specifications.

• Convert complex technical workflows into user-friendly and intuitive experiences.

• Apply visual design and persuasive design principles to craft enjoyable and engaging user flows.

• Develop and uphold UI components, patterns, and visual standards within the design system.

• Work collaboratively with product, engineering, ML research, and GTM teams on cross-functional projects.

• Assist with spontaneous design requirements as they emerge.

• Aid in formalizing design processes and co-leading design initiatives as the organization expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in product UI/UX design.

• Ideally experienced in gamified consumer applications.

• Experience in developing tools and/or chat interfaces is an advantage.

• Capable of balancing the needs of technical users while creating engaging designs.

• Proficient in contemporary design and prototyping tools.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing methods.

• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for managing style guides and component libraries.

• Experience in an early-stage startup is a plus.

• Knowledge of AI safety principles or ethical considerations in AI systems is a bonus.

• Some familiarity with front-end development or coding skills is an added advantage.
