Staff Product Designer, AI Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and document Komodo Health’s design language, encompassing principles, typography, color schemes, motion, voice, and essential patterns.

• Translate design aesthetics into versioned, measured, and maintained AI skills, components, and templates.

• Create AI interfaces, intricate analytic workflows, and innovative products.

• Prototype using AI tools and utilize Figma when suitable.

• Address recurring design challenges at the source of the skill or tool.

• Empower PMs, engineers, and forward-deployed teams to develop high-quality prototypes and products.

• Design and implement interaction patterns for agentic work, covering plans, progress, sources, confidence, and adjustments.

• Conceptualize and prototype flagship experiences from initial idea to general availability.

• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and forward-deployed teams through reviews, Slack communications, and customer-facing prototypes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding visual, interaction, and content design skills.

• A portfolio is required.

• Capability to build functional prototypes and real user interfaces with AI tools.

• Proficiency in fixing components within code.

• Daily usage of Claude or comparable AI tools for design.

• Comprehension of how AI interprets skills and the reasons for output variations.

• Experience in developing skills or systems utilized by individuals beyond the team.

• Background in designing AI products, including reasoning processes, sources, uncertainties, and human corrections.

• Minimum of 8 years in product design.

• Experience leading design for complex B2B, data, or analytics products from initial prototype to scaling.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Experience in healthcare or regulated data, data visualization, front-end engineering, and transitioning design systems is considered a plus.
