Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct customer interviews, usability assessments, and analytical reviews to identify issues.

• Utilize AI agents to transcribe and categorize interviews, identify themes, analyze customer calls, support tickets, product feedback, and usage data.

• Validate AI-generated insights against original quotes and numerical data.

• Employ Claude Code to create functional prototypes using actual components and data within the live codebase.

• Test prototypes with customers and iterate swiftly.

• Leverage Claude Code for UI and UX pull requests, including refinements, fixes, and component updates.

• Review AI-generated code prior to engineering evaluations.

• Deliver functioning code as the main design output, supported by specifications and design files that address states, edge cases, and accessibility.

• Contribute documented and reusable design-system components and tokens in Figma and code.

• Use AI to audit screens, create component variants and usage documentation, and detect discrepancies between Figma and production.

• Design reliable AI experiences featuring provenance, human oversight, traceable reasoning, and effective management of uncertain or incorrect outputs.

• Prototype using authentic model responses.

• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards before release and manually verify AI accessibility checks.

• Develop reusable prompts, Claude skills, and agents to streamline design and product workflows.

• Conduct design reviews and articulate complex decisions to diverse audiences.

• Establish success metrics prior to launch and assess outcomes afterward utilizing product analytics.

• Collaborate with the Design Director, product managers, engineers, customers, and fellow designers to deliver production work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in B2B SaaS.

• Practical experience in developing prototypes within a real codebase using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.

• A portfolio that includes interactive or shipped works demonstrating reasoning, not just final screens.

• Evidence of how AI has transformed your work processes, including specific workflows reconstructed and measurable enhancements.

• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools; proficiency in Claude Code is preferred, while experience with Cursor or similar tools is acceptable.

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, React, and Git.

• Ability to direct AI coding tools, interpret diffs, and identify incorrect outputs.

• Sound judgment regarding AI, with the capability to review AI-assisted work to meet the same quality standards as other deliverables.

• Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities.

• Experience utilizing AI tools and agents for research, including interview synthesis, survey and usage-data analysis, or unmoderated testing.

• Excellent facilitation skills and advocacy for customers.

• Familiarity with design systems, including design tokens.

• A passion for simplifying intricate problems in enterprise software.

• Nice to have: experience in GRC, security, or another regulated domain.

• Nice to have: experience in designing AI or agent-based experiences.
