This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead technical initiatives across various teams, promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange.
• Utilize system-level thinking to recognize and address architectural challenges.
• Evaluate and mitigate technical risks effectively.
• Apply engineering best practices and enhance workflows for optimal efficiency.
• Mentor engineering staff to boost productivity and quality standards.
• Develop rapid prototypes and transition viable solutions into full-scale production.
• Discover, implement, and disseminate technical solutions organization-wide.
• Identify areas of unsecured code and execute necessary fixes.
• Propose product enhancements aimed at improving the end-user experience.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Chief Architecture Owners.
• Generate architecture diagrams and documentation for security assessments and other stakeholders.
• Establish service level objectives and manage reliability-related backlog priorities.
• Create custom code and scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring, and testing processes.
• Perform destructive testing to ensure system resilience in production environments.
• Develop dashboards, logging systems, alerting mechanisms, and proactive incident response strategies.
• Over 6 years of hands-on experience in software development using React, Next.js, or comparable web frameworks.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• More than 4 years of mentoring experience and providing guidance to Developers.
• At least 4 years in designing, developing, and architecting eCommerce applications for customers.
• Capability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication skills to inform and influence senior leadership effectively.
• Experience working cross-functionally on multiple projects with a proven track record of successful project advancement.
• Possess analytical, planning, prioritization, financial, business, problem-solving, and process-improvement expertise.
• Ability to cultivate and leverage talent effectively.
