Senior Angular/JS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance a cutting-edge clinical technology platform

• Collaborate with the team on ideas, best practices, and strategies for both front-end and back-end development

• Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code

• Develop applications using Angular

• Leverage RESTful Web APIs

• Detect and resolve bottlenecks and bugs

• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation

• Uphold high standards of code quality through unit, integration, performance, and security testing

• Support Scrum/Agile methodologies, including sprints, standups, retrospectives, planning, pointing, and grooming

• Engage in the hiring process by participating on interview panels

• Report directly to Alex Chavarria

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of substantial hands-on experience in designing and developing front-end applications for web-based platforms

• Proficient with the latest UI development frameworks and technologies, particularly Angular 2+

• Knowledge of system design and data structures

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB

• Proven experience in building responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and SASS

• Familiarity with the latest JavaScript features utilizing TypeScript

• Skilled in creating and consuming RESTful APIs

• Experience with unit and integration testing

• History of working within Agile teams

• Proficient with code management systems, such as Git

• Valid work authorization in the country of residence, with necessary documentation required

• Experience with Kafka is a plus

• Familiarity with AWS is a plus
