This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Design, document, code, perform unit testing, conduct systems testing, and deploy software applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, analysts, leaders, and clinicians to gather consistent feedback on design and development.
• Engage in coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Adhere to the team's best practices in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including the use of templates and source control.
• Take part in story writing, estimating, and refining the backlog.
• Comply with departmental guidelines concerning time tracking and work assignments.
• Diagnose and resolve code-related issues and defects.
• Provide ongoing application support and assist with projects in an agile development setting.
• Deliver solutions and outcomes as part of a squad within an agile development framework.
• Complete assigned tasks within the designated time estimates.
• Offer after-hours support as necessary.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of two years of experience in developing ASP.NET, VB.NET, and/or C# applications.
• At least two years of experience in developing JavaScript-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• An Associate’s Degree coupled with one year of experience can substitute for the experience requirement.
• Preferred: An Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of database and application services.
• Preferred: Experience in front-end development with React, Sanity, and Next.js.
• Preferred: Familiarity with basic front-end technologies.
• Ability to work in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to travel throughout the hospital system.
• Capacity to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Proficient in communicating and exchanging accurate information.
• Must comply with the influenza prevention program, including annual vaccination or an approved exemption.
