Senior UI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and develop high-quality user interfaces for intricate web applications across both responsive desktop and mobile platforms.

• Construct a scalable frontend architecture along with reusable component systems.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement complete features.

• Design user experiences that incorporate AI and agent-driven workflows.

• Utilize contemporary AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to enhance development speed and code quality.

• Engage in technical design discussions, architecture evaluations, and engineering planning sessions.

• Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.

• Contribute to frontend standards, best practices, and participate in code reviews.

• Assist in shaping the future trajectory of the product and its user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a significant emphasis on frontend development.

• Proven experience in building modern web applications using frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or similar.

• High proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures.

• Strong comprehension of component-based development and state management paradigms.

• Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and contemporary engineering workflows.

• Proficiency with modern build tools, such as Vite.

• Experience in writing and maintaining end-to-end tests using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
