This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Facilitate sessions with individuals seeking assistance related to neurodivergence, which includes ADHD, autism spectrum, learning differences, and challenges with executive functioning.
• Offer neurodiversity-affirming psychoeducation, coaching, and brief counseling services.
• Provide executive functioning coaching that emphasizes organization, time management, prioritization, emotional regulation, planning, goal setting, and workplace effectiveness.
• Assist newly diagnosed clients, those exploring neurodivergence, and individuals aiming to comprehend its effects on daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.
• Aid partners, caregivers, and family members in developing communication strategies and practical support methods.
• Help clients access resources, supports, and accommodations in workplace, educational, community, and wellness settings.
• Offer support in at least two additional LifeSmart areas, such as parenting, relationships, eldercare, pre-retirement planning, grief and loss, stress and burnout, or career planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless delivery of services and continuity of care.
• Contribute to the creation of resource materials, educational content, and practical tools.
• Maintain documentation of clinical interactions, resource recommendations, and service outcomes in accordance with organizational standards.
• A master's or bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in adult mental health intervention, coaching, counseling, or psychoeducational support.
• Proven experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families.
• Valid registration with a recognized professional regulatory body.
• Strong knowledge of neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based practices.
• Understanding of ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges.
• Proficiency in solution-focused brief counseling, psychoeducation, coaching methodologies, and practical skill-building interventions.
• Experience in supporting emotional regulation, workplace challenges, relationship issues, life transitions, stress, burnout, and self-advocacy.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and documentation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Interest in writing resource letters and developing educational tools and resources.
