Staff Backend Engineer – Prompt Security, Node.js, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop backend infrastructure for an AI security solution aimed at monitoring AI assets, evaluating risks, and providing actionable insights.

• Create, enhance, and support scalable server-side applications and APIs.

• Design and fine-tune database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.

• Work alongside frontend developers to merge user-facing components with server-side functionality.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to architectural choices.

• Diagnose, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.

• Implement security protocols and data protection strategies.

• Utilize AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing backend services.

• Contribute to the development of microservices architecture.

• Keep abreast of new backend technologies and industry best practices.

• Enforce security protocols to ensure safe and compliant AI deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Proficient in database management.

• Experience in developing and integrating APIs, including the design and construction of RESTful APIs; knowledge of GraphQL is advantageous.

• Skilled in designing and implementing microservices.

• Familiarity with scalability and performance enhancement techniques, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale distributed architectures.

• Proven experience in implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
