Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop REST APIs and microservices within distributed environments;

• Create scalable solutions emphasizing performance and security;

• Integrate systems utilizing messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and JMS;

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines;

• Work collaboratively with product and frontend teams to ensure seamless delivery;

• Employ software development best practices, including automated testing and code reviews;

• Oversee and resolve issues within applications in production;

• Contribute to the design and architecture of solutions in distributed settings, focusing on APIs and microservices, while fostering collaboration and promoting the adoption of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java and frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;

• Proficient in microservices architecture and distributed systems;

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, as well as non-relational databases like MongoDB and Redis;

• Experience in working with Docker and Kubernetes environments;

• Familiarity with Node.js for additional development and integrations;

• Experience with automated testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, TDD/BDD);

• Familiar with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;

• Preferred: Understanding of information security as it pertains to APIs;

• Preferred: Experience in high-availability environments with significant transaction volumes;

• Preferred: Involvement in technical communities, tech talks, or open-source projects.
