Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Record and maintain financial transactions using QuickBooks Online.

• Process entries for accounts payable, including reviewing vendor invoices and tracking payments.

• Provide support for accounts receivable functions.

• Assist with reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.

• Process and monitor vendor purchase order requests from internal stakeholders.

• Aid in expense reporting and processing through Concur.

• Support tasks related to month-end close and organization of financial records.

• Ensure accurate supporting documentation for all transactions is maintained.

• Enter and verify financial data sourced from various internal platforms.

• Maintain accounting spreadsheets and related schedules.

• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promptly identify any discrepancies or process gaps.

• Collaborate within the finance team while receiving task direction from various internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits/credits, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Required hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.

• Licensed CPA with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Experience with Concur is a significant advantage; however, training will be provided.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Experience in event production, media, or entertainment is a plus but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors before they advance.

• Capability to adhere to established SOPs and highlight any discrepancies or process gaps.

• Willingness to ask clarifying questions instead of making assumptions.

• Reliable and responsive in managing workload effectively.

• Full-time availability from Monday to Friday, in accordance with Arizona time (MST/MDT).

• A reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional, dedicated remote working environment are required.
