Senior Property Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Prepare and finalize monthly bank reconciliations for all entities, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

• Prepare, record, and review journal entries, which include accruals, reclassifications, and adjusting entries.

• Oversee transactional accounting, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of receipts, disbursements, and intercompany activities.

• Take ownership of the month-end closing process, which includes account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analysis.

• Process fund distributions and compute management fees in accordance with governing documents.

• Maintain accounting for multi-entity fund structures, creating fund-specific workflows in QuickBooks utilizing sub-accounts and classes.

• Develop and sustain Excel models to facilitate manual allocations and reconciliations alongside QuickBooks.

• Assist in annual fund audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to requests from auditors.

• Collaborate with internal teams to collect information and ensure accurate reporting.

• Manage sensitive financial and investor information with the utmost discretion.

• Provide support for other accounting projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with distribution processing and calculations of management fees.

• Background in accounting for multi-entity fund structures.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Online, including the configuration of sub-accounts and classes for fund-level tracking.

• Advanced skills in Excel, particularly in constructing allocation and reconciliation models.

• Experience in supporting fund audits.

• Solid understanding of bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures.

• Proven discretion with confidential financial and investor information.

• Active CPA (or a similar local) license.
