This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while resolving discrepancies.

• Aid in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

• Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, government contracting requirements, and regulatory standards.

• Support DCAA and financial statement audits by assembling schedules and documentation.

• Manage the fixed assets ledger, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expenses.

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and project accounting functions.

• Record and reconcile intercompany labor, shared service, and overhead allocations.

• Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and assist in consolidation and elimination entries.

• Ensure prompt settlement of intercompany balances.

• Reconcile payroll, benefits, taxes, and labor distributions.

• Support labor transfers and project labor adjustments.

• Review timesheet compliance and manage labor processing.

• Maintain supporting documentation for financial transactions.

• Carry out other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of one year of experience in government contracting or public accounting.

• Strong understanding of government contracting financial structures, cost accounting, and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger.

• Excellent analytical skills for assessing financial data and records.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

• Ability to collaborate across various organizational levels and communicate complex financial information effectively.

• Self-motivated with sound judgment, capable of solving complex problems, managing competing priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team setting.

• High level of sensitivity to confidential information.

• Must be available for extended hours and weekends as necessary.

• Must successfully pass a background screening.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
