SRE Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical expert for the team, aiding in development and advocating for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.

• Ensure the availability, scalability, performance, and security of the organization's systems and infrastructure.

• Maintain a stable, reliable, and secure environment for all users and services.

• Foster a DevOps culture and encourage collaboration among development, infrastructure, and information security teams.

• Implement and oversee automation, monitoring, and orchestration tools and processes for both infrastructure and applications.

• Analyze incidents, pinpoint root causes, and suggest preventive measures.

• Carry out additional responsibilities associated with the role, enhancing the efficiency and continuous improvement of services and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform; knowledge of Pulumi or CloudFormation is a plus.

• Proficiency and experience with APIGEE.

• Familiarity with Datadog; experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ChaosSearch is advantageous.

• Programming skills in Python or Golang for cloud automation tasks.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.

• Senior-level expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS or Azure experience is also acceptable.

• Advanced understanding of managed Kubernetes, particularly GKE; familiarity with EKS or AKS is beneficial.

• Certifications in Cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes are an advantage.

• Experience with cost optimization and governance in multicloud environments.
