Spring Internship – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the various teams and tasks involved in the publication of Harper’s hardcover books.

• Familiarize yourself with publishing software programs and utilize them to aid in crafting marketing copy, influencer outreach, administrative tasks, and other departmental functions.

• Support the management of departmental accounts on Goodreads and NetGalley.

• Organize marketing mailings for buzz-building campaigns directed at bookstores and influencers.

• Assist with digital marketing efforts, including digital advertising, social media outreach, and content creation aimed at promoting books.

• Generate and compile promotional lists, such as those for book clubs and influencers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates should be available to work 21 hours per week over 3 or 4 days, from February 8 to April 16, 2027.

• Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• A resume and cover letter are mandatory; applications submitted without a cover letter will not be taken into consideration.

• Eligible candidates include rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry-level applicants with up to 1 year of work experience.

• Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.

• Must be motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

• Effective and thoughtful communicators who are willing to collaborate across departments are preferred.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and Canva is advantageous.

• A strong passion for books is highly appreciated.
