This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Drive the identification and implementation of innovative procedures for the da Vinci surgical system.
• Collaborate with Clinical Sales, Capital Sales, and Key Accounts leadership and personnel.
• Identify and cultivate Key Opinion Leaders in General, Thoracic, Colorectal, and Bariatric procedures, with a potential future focus on Head & Neck Surgery.
• Establish regional case observation sites and Epicenters.
• Execute strategic market development initiatives, including MSA RIPs and blitz activities.
• Implement the Consolidation Pathway Methodology for Key Opinion Leaders.
• Choose suitable case observation sites.
• Conduct on-site and wet lab training sessions.
• Add value during the initial series of cases and provide intra-operative and post-operative clinical insights.
• Develop and lead advanced regional training programs.
• Act as a market intelligence liaison for the marketing and training teams.
• Deliver presentations to hospital and practice executives.
• Assess da Vinci Single-Site surgeon candidates for training feasibility within targeted regions.
• Offer feedback to improve representatives' effectiveness in selling to specific specialties.
• Organize and manage knowledge programs with assistance from AVP and CSDs.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Louisville, KY or Indianapolis, IN area.
• Proven ability to handle complexity and navigate in a changing environment.
• Demonstrated capability to influence peers.
• Excellent communication skills across a diverse organization with various focuses.
• Strong clinical selling abilities and aptitude for quickly establishing credibility with a highly educated customer base.
• Proven track record of sales excellence.
• Management experience or a career trajectory in management is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of management experience is necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical device sales required.
• Overnight travel is necessary: 2–3 days per week (40%–60%).
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A background in thoracic or colorectal sales is preferred.
• May be required to present current proof of vaccination against specific diseases, including COVID-19.
• Candidates may be subject to U.S. export control regulations, including an export license and/or Technology Control Plan.
