This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance strategic relationships with key clients in the life sciences sector.
• Act as the main contact for strategic clients.
• Hold regular meetings to grasp client objectives, challenges, and requirements.
• Align the company's products and services with client objectives through a consultative methodology.
• Discover upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities within current accounts.
• Achieve or surpass revenue and performance targets.
• Monitor account performance and deliver precise forecasts for revenue and renewals.
• Update senior management on the status of key accounts.
• Ensure contract renewals and offer solutions for evolving client requirements.
• Track account health and proactively resolve issues impacting client satisfaction or retention.
• Assist in onboarding new clients and integrating products or services.
• Address client concerns utilizing internal resources and processes.
• Collect client feedback and deliver actionable insights to the appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing, customer success, and senior leadership.
• Stay updated on company offerings, industry trends, and competitive insights.
• Keep precise key account records in the CRM system, such as Salesforce.
• Document client interactions, meetings, opportunities, and action items.
• Provide timely updates on account activities, performance, and progress towards targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success.
• Proven ability to manage key or strategic accounts.
• Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with senior-level decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Capability to assess client needs and suggest customized solutions.
• Proficient in negotiating contract terms, pricing, and service agreements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and accounts at the same time.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and meet revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, including Salesforce.
• Knowledge of life science products, services, and applications.
• Competence in navigating complex sales processes, including long-term contracts, large deals, and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Capability to use a computer and perform frequent repetitive motions.
• Must meet applicable work authorization requirements.
