This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Drive the recognition and implementation of new protocols for the da Vinci surgical system.
• Collaborate with Clinical Sales, Capital Sales, marketing, and Market Access teams.
• Identify and nurture Key Opinion Leaders in surgical specialties during their initial growth phases.
• Mentor, advise, and train local sales representatives on how to engage with specialists in designated hospital accounts.
• Increase the utilization of da Vinci specialty procedures in Colorectal, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Hernia, and various other clinical indications.
• Transform existing clients into case observation sites and Epicenters.
• Carry out strategic market development initiatives alongside sales leadership and marketing teams.
• Implement sales strategies that support KOL expertise as da Vinci surgeons, which includes case observation, on-site and wet lab training, and initial case-series assistance.
• Design and manage advanced regional training programs.
• Introduce new technologies.
• Act as a market intelligence liaison for both marketing and training departments.
• Deliver executive presentations to hospitals and practices.
• Cultivate future training pathways by introducing existing surgeons to new indications and converting strategic targets to da Vinci technology.
• Enhance specialty sales effectiveness through representative feedback and competency initiatives.
• Utilize Specialty Sales resources to facilitate the launch of new procedures and products.
• Oversee surgeon training materials related to utilization, training impact, and procedural volume outcomes.
• Analyze and influence trends in targeted specialty procedures, addressing anomalies and managing them effectively.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device sales is required.
• Proven track record of individual sales success.
• Strong clinical selling abilities and the capacity to rapidly establish credibility with a highly educated customer base.
• In-depth clinical knowledge across various surgical specialties, particularly in Colorectal, General Surgery, GYN, Thoracic, and Hernia.
• Demonstrated capability to navigate complexity and excel in a dynamic environment.
• Established ability to influence peers effectively.
• Proficient communication skills across a diverse organization with multiple focuses.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and/or be present in the field, based on business requirements.
