This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Manage the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call evaluations.

• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings, effectively closing sales calls with logical calls to action.

• Attend to customer needs and foster trusted relationships.

• Create and execute call plans to maximize coverage and frequency with key customers.

• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales strategies.

• Share market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.

• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to health providers.

• Identify, nurture, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Operate in accordance with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.

• Alternatively, at least five (5) years of experience, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED required.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business acumen and proficiency in using business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation skills.

• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.

• Innovative problem-solving skills.

• Proven success in leadership and support roles with increasing responsibility.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing preferred.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.

• Capability to drive a personal vehicle, company vehicle, or powered material-handling equipment.
