This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Implement brand strategy and tactics in the field
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts
• Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs
• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call evaluations
• Manage objections and secure action points during sales interactions
• Formulate and execute call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales prospects
• Acquire knowledge of customer needs, the territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales strategies
• Distribute market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates
• Comply with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• Minimum of five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry preferred
• High school diploma/GED required when substituting experience for a bachelor’s degree
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking
• Ability to adjust selling techniques to align with customer styles and behaviors
• Competence in developing sales strategies and innovative solutions
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment
• Experience in leadership and peer coaching
• Proven success in leadership and support roles with increasing responsibility
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Proficiency in spoken and written English for non-English-speaking regions
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria
• Ability to operate a personal or company vehicle or powered material-handling equipment
