This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and key accounts.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and conduct evaluations post-call.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to facilitate calls to action and finalize sales calls.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with customers and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and execute call plans that enhance customer coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Communicate market intelligence with field teams, brand, and sales management.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.
• Travel approximately 10% of the time for scheduled training events and sales meetings.
• Comply with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• If lacking a bachelor’s degree: at least five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for non-English-speaking countries.
• Demonstrated history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Flexibility to adapt sales approaches to diverse customer styles and behaviors.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capacity to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and comply with safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to cover the territory, including overnight training events and sales meetings.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
