Specialist Solutions Architecture

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter authority on Stripe Link to enhance global opportunities.

• Exhibit proficiency in checkout optimization, network-based authentication, and the influence of saved payment methods on conversion rates.

• Build expertise in Stripe Link integration patterns, such as embedded checkout, Stripe.js, and direct API flows, while guiding customers through their implementation choices.

• Counsel customers on the interaction of Link with Radar, Billing, and Connect throughout their payment ecosystem.

• Define, communicate, and learn best practices and reusable resources with the wider GTM organization.

• Develop reference architectures to enhance end-to-end checkout and conversion processes.

• Collaborate with the Payments product sales team on strategic Link initiatives, directing solution strategy, and managing key customer relationships.

• Work alongside the Link product team to introduce new features.

• Act as the internal advocate for customers in product and feature prioritization discussions.

• Identify and analyze trends in checkout user experience, wallets, passkeys, and network-based authentication.

• Resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with Stripe's engineering team.

• Remain informed about competitive analysis and market differentiation.

• Assist with executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting position focused on online payments or e-commerce.

• Strong understanding of checkout optimization, including conversion metrics, cart abandonment, and the user experience and technical factors that impact them.

• Knowledge of payment authentication standards (3DS, passkeys, network tokenization) and their effects on authorization rates.

• Experience in designing payment flows and integrations for large enterprises, covering multi-market and multi-currency situations.

• Solid knowledge of software engineering and API integration methodologies.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with comfort in conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven track record of fostering strong collaborative relationships with business partners.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
