Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Clearly define the F5 product strategy, messaging, positioning, value proposition, and solutions tailored to meet customer business objectives.

• Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proof of concepts, whether in-person or via virtual platforms and whiteboards.

• Guide and educate sales teams on the benefits of F5 solutions and the associated business drivers.

• Evaluate opportunity feasibility and analyze organizational structures.

• Lead the sales process alongside the Account Manager by identifying the Technical Decision Maker and ensuring technical validation, support, and sponsorship.

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer life cycle.

• Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams, sharing best practices, updates, and expertise.

• Assist sales teams and customers with in-depth technical knowledge of F5 solutions.

• Meet assigned sales targets and promote relevant F5 solutions and products across North America.

• Comprehend customer and partner technical and business challenges, proposing effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer.

• Familiarity with traffic management and load-balancing technologies, such as F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp, or similar.

• Understanding of HTTP, web servers, and web applications.

• Knowledge of related protocols, including TCP/IP, WebSocket, SPDY/HTTP2, SSL, SMTP, POP, DNS, etc.

• Proficiency in Linux-/UNIX-based systems.

• Expertise in networking technologies and internet security products and services.

• Experience with cloud service providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, systems, and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).

• Skills in API development and/or management.

• Experience in a DevOps environment, with a solid understanding of tools, processes, and culture.

• Experience working with enterprise customers in the financial services sector.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience is required.
