Special Projects Communications Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee campaign initiatives and perform research activities.

• Facilitate advertising placements that promote PETA's campaign efforts both nationally and internationally.

• Take charge of independently managing projects related to PETA's campaigns.

• Create and implement initiatives that advocate for animal rights issues through advertisements across various platforms.

• Generate ad concepts and collaborate with the Production team to design advertisements.

• Identify target demographics, platforms, and audiences for ad placement.

• Manage pitches for ad placements and secure advertising contracts with Media Relations.

• Coordinate time-sensitive news releases and blogs in collaboration with the Marketing and Media teams.

• Collect documentation for placed advertisements.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of ad campaigns and propose enhancements.

• Assist the Special Projects Division during designated brainstorming sessions.

• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor and president.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Capability to quickly develop effective project management skills.

• Proven ability to produce high-quality, accurate research and analysis.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA's campaigns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong editing abilities.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrated capacity to make informed judgments and work autonomously.

• Proven initiative and ability to follow through on tasks.

• Professional demeanor and commitment to a healthy vegan lifestyle.
