Spanish Linguistic Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality and precision of Spanish text generated by LLMs across various use cases, including translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.

• Revise, enhance, or recompose Spanish content to align with linguistic and cultural norms.

• Annotate Spanish text focused on grammatical, syntactic, and semantic characteristics.

• Detect model inaccuracies and language deficiencies.

• Work alongside AI researchers to enhance the performance of LLMs.

• Offer comprehensive linguistic feedback and analysis to inform model training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and stylistics.

• Professional background in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data tasks in Spanish.

• In-depth understanding of linguistic subtleties, regional differences, and contextually appropriate language use.

• A keen interest in AI and LLM-based language technologies (preferred but not mandatory).

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect minor errors or awkward phrasing.

• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in distributed, remote teams.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
