Spanish Linguistic Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality and precision of Spanish text generated by LLM, focusing on translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction applications.

• Revise, enhance, or rewrite Spanish content to align with linguistic and cultural expectations.

• Annotate Spanish text to capture grammatical, syntactic, and semantic characteristics.

• Detect model inaccuracies and language deficiencies.

• Collaborate with AI researchers to enhance the performance of LLM.

• Deliver comprehensive linguistic feedback and analysis to inform model training.

• Manage projects independently; project timelines may vary, including extensions, reductions, or early completions based on requirements and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.

• Strong grasp of Spanish grammar, syntax, and stylistic elements.

• Professional background in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or Spanish NLP data tasks.

• Deep understanding of linguistic subtleties, regional distinctions, and contextually appropriate language use.

• Interest in AI and LLM-driven language technologies is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to spot minor errors or awkward phrasing.

• Effective communication skills.

• Experience in distributed, remote team environments.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
