Spanish Linguistic Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality and precision of LLM-generated Spanish text in various contexts including translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.

• Edit, enhance, or rewrite Spanish content to align with linguistic and cultural norms.

• Annotate Spanish text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic attributes.

• Detect model inaccuracies and language deficiencies.

• Collaborate with AI researchers to enhance the performance of LLMs.

• Offer comprehensive linguistic feedback and analysis to inform ongoing model training.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, with a strong grasp of grammar, syntax, and stylistics.

• Professional background in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP-related work involving Spanish.

• Solid understanding of linguistic subtleties, regional differences, and contextually appropriate usage.

• Interest in AI and LLM-based language technologies (preferred but not mandatory).

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot minor errors or awkward phrasing.

• Strong communication skills and experience working within distributed, remote teams.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Currently unable to sponsor H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
