Sourcing Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Create and implement sourcing initiatives with accountability at the Leadership level.

• Oversee purchasing activities and manage process workflows through relevant systems.

• Evaluate opportunities, develop sourcing strategies, and engage with business partners and key stakeholders.

• Forge strategic partnerships with clients and suppliers to advance the organization's purchasing strategy.

• Assist in Strategic Sourcing initiatives for clinical teams by conducting product research, cost analysis, and preparing presentations.

• Design and execute strategies and processes aimed at reducing supply expenses while ensuring quality of care is upheld.

• Track, communicate, and enhance the designated scope of work.

• Work collaboratively with team members, including physicians, to identify and develop improvements and standardization for assigned categories.

• Direct sourcing initiatives encompassing scoping analysis, RFP creation, proposal reviews, negotiations, communications of recommendations, contracting, supplier management, and budget oversight.

• Monitor and report on the budgets of initiatives/contracts while identifying ongoing trends and opportunities for improvements with vendors or internally.

• Partner with legal teams to negotiate beneficial contracts on behalf of the organization or its members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Healthcare (required; Roper only: Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree).

• 5 years of progressive experience in sourcing relevant commodities for large healthcare systems.

• Strong ability to collaborate, troubleshoot, communicate effectively, and manage timelines and budgets.

• Experience in conducting product research, performing cost analysis, and presenting initiatives.

• Proven experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies and processes.

• Proficient in scoping analysis, RFP development, proposal evaluations, negotiations, contracting, and supplier management.

• Experience in monitoring and reporting budgets for initiatives/contracts.

• Ability to work with legal teams to negotiate contracts.

• Licensing/Certification: None required.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Informatics, Analytics, or Nursing (preferred).
