This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Oversee purchasing activities and manage process flow through relevant systems.
• Conduct thorough product research, perform cost analysis, and prepare presentations for sourcing initiatives.
• Create and execute strategies and processes aimed at reducing supply expenses while ensuring quality of care is upheld.
• Track, communicate, and enhance the assigned scope of work.
• Work collaboratively with team members, including physicians, to identify and develop improvements and standardization for designated categories.
• Manage sourcing initiatives that encompass scoping analysis, RFP development, proposal evaluations, negotiations, communication of recommendations, contracting, ongoing supplier management, and budget oversight.
• Monitor and report on initiative and contract budgets; identify recurring trends and opportunities for vendor or internal improvements.
• Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate advantageous contracts.
• Establish strategic partnerships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to execute the organization’s purchasing strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Healthcare required; Roper only: Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of progressive experience in sourcing relevant commodities for large healthcare systems.
