Sourcing Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement supplier strategies, focusing on the management and optimization of supplier panels.

• Drive negotiations and assign specific needs to appropriate suppliers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions, relaying information to the Procurement team.

• Oversee claims management.

• Conduct commercial sourcing management, which includes data analysis and negotiation support.

• Execute purchasing activities when necessary.

• Lead and manage medium to large teams, encompassing both direct and indirect reports.

• Cultivate expertise within the function and offer professional or thought leadership.

• Direct functional teams or projects that have moderate to high resource requirements, risks, and/or complexities.

• Present business solutions to functional leaders.

• Convey complex messages and negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as external partners, vendors, or customers.

• Influence policies, operating guidelines, budgets, and delivery within the function.

• Guide others in discovering innovative solutions to intricate challenges.

• Assess information quality and scrutinize conflicting data for thorough analysis.

• Leverage internal and external resources to enhance decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Sourcing Management at a senior level, with relevant exposure.

• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.

• Capability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.

• Proficiency in leading programs and projects.

• Skilled in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Proven project management skills.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Experience in the Aerospace sector is preferred.
