Sourcing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sourcing operations at Attesa Coffee, focusing on supplier relationships and transaction management.

• Facilitate green coffee purchase transactions in Asia, Africa, and other essential origins.

• Perform market research on coffee producers, origins, varieties, processing methods, and emerging sourcing opportunities.

• Investigate coffee events, producers, and potential sourcing partners in key coffee-producing regions.

• Collaborate with management and sales teams to comprehend coffee requirements and address sourcing inquiries.

• Keep sourcing information accurate and current across internal databases and digital platforms.

• Aid in the preparation of offer lists, sourcing updates, and other commercial documentation.

• Liaise with coffee providers to acquire information on coffee, pricing, farm details, and farm imagery.

• Develop and coordinate marketing and communication materials for outreach to external partners.

• Assist the logistics team with transport and freight communication to ensure timely and smooth shipments.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners regarding coffee availability, documentation, samples, pricing, and shipment statuses.

• Discover new sourcing opportunities and contribute ideas to enhance Attesa Coffee’s sourcing network.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Business, or a related discipline.

• Practical knowledge or experience in sourcing, purchasing, or sales of coffee or other agricultural commodities.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks, proactively follow up, and integrate information from various sources.

• Strong research capabilities and the ability to identify and organize pertinent market and supplier data.

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a resourceful mindset for finding solutions.

• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

• Previous experience in the green coffee sector is a plus.

• Familiarity with CRM, sourcing, or other digital business tools is advantageous.

• A strong curiosity about coffee, its origins, markets, and the individuals behind the supply chain is preferred.

• Willingness to travel to coffee origins in the future is desirable.
