Sourcing and Product Validation Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Direct the research and development of innovative products that align with market and business needs.

• Identify, source, and assess dependable suppliers and manufacturing partners.

• Research and pinpoint appropriate factories based on product specifications, capabilities, quality benchmarks, and commercial feasibility.

• Execute product validation and feasibility studies, including assessments of materials, specifications, functionality, and performance.

• Manage the development of product samples, including revisions, testing, and approval processes with suppliers and internal teams.

• Prepare and analyze product costing, while negotiating pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), payment conditions, lead times, and other commercial terms with factories.

• Review product materials, specifications, construction, quality, and performance to ensure they meet established requirements.

• Collaborate with the Quality & Compliance team to guarantee that products adhere to necessary quality, compliance, and testing standards before they enter commercial production.

• Cultivate robust relationships with suppliers and factories, ensuring that sourcing outcomes remain commercially competitive.

• Recognize potential risks related to products, suppliers, quality, and commercial aspects, exercising sound judgment in evaluating sourcing and development opportunities.
