Senior Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee sourcing and contracting initiatives that support category strategies and business objectives.

• Attain cost-effective procurement results while enhancing product quality and supplier service standards.

• Collaborate with Procurement, various business sectors, and internal support teams.

• Conduct RFx processes, guide supplier selection, and carry out contracting activities.

• Reduce total transaction costs and pinpoint opportunities to shift expenditures to strategic categories.

• Utilize existing sourcing strategies for various spend categories.

• Ensure that all purchases comply with established policies and procedures.

• Adhere to internal and external regulations, policies, and laws.

• Promote best practices, simplification, standardization, and operational efficiency.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of category strategies.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Procurement.

• Proven expertise in team facilitation, influencing, and communication skills.

• Capability to manage the complete order to payment cycle.

• Skill in translating identified needs into clear, comprehensive, consistent, and exclusive requirements.

• Highly proficient listening, interpersonal, influencing, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to adhere to current processes while swiftly adapting to new ones.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.

• Service-oriented approach.

• Proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
