This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the procurement and supply chain processes for additives and packaging materials.
• Negotiate and monitor commercial agreements, lead times, volumes, and service levels with suppliers.
• Manage contracts and foster relationships with key suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance, costs, quality, and service-level metrics.
• Conduct regular visits to suppliers to assess operations, performance, and action plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and supply chain enhancement.
• Assist in projects related to the development and qualification of new suppliers, materials, and supply alternatives.
• Address supply-related challenges to guarantee operational continuity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Logistics, International Trade, or a similar field.
• Significant experience in Strategic Procurement or Strategic Sourcing.
• Proven experience in supplier management, commercial negotiations, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of additives, chemical raw materials, packaging, or industrial supplies.
• Experience in developing, qualifying, and managing supplier performance metrics.
• Familiarity with category management, cost analysis, cost reduction, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Background in Supply Chain, demand planning, and supply planning.
• Proficiency in managing supplier performance indicators such as cost, quality, lead time, and service levels.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with both domestic and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of import processes.
• Understanding of Power BI.
• Experience with categories such as chemicals, lubricants, resins, plastics, food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or similar products.
• Experience with additives and/or packaging in industrial settings.
• A postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field is considered an advantage.
