This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee forecasts for finished goods inventory and create replenishment plans in line with stocking strategies and inventory policies.
• Implement purchase orders to align with replenishment plans and variations in customer demand.
• Handle purchasing operations in SAP, which includes placing, confirming, and expediting purchase orders.
• Issue cost-effective purchase orders based on lead times.
• Manage vendor relationships and address issues related to delivery, price discrepancies, minimums, and logistics.
• Provide insights on key vendors to ensure adherence to agreed performance standards.
• Control inventory levels to achieve days-of-supply objectives and mitigate slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock.
• Maintain supply chain data for forecasting, customer engagement, and product planning.
• Reconcile invoices as needed.
• Assess forecasts and master data to address supply gaps before they affect customers.
• Evaluate inventory and delivery challenges and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, customer service, quality, marketing, sourcing, and operations teams regarding product availability and delivery timelines.
• Enhance supply chain responsiveness by managing lead times and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Establish and implement best practices for inventory planning and business strategies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a supply chain-related role is required.
• Proficient in utilizing an ERP system for planning, procurement, and operations; experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Exceptional multitasking, follow-up, and execution capabilities.
• Proficient in planning and managing multiple SKUs.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, prioritization, listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and motivation.
• Detail-oriented with a solution-focused mindset.
• Awareness of the financial implications of variances, purchase prices, and inventory investments.
• Excellent computer skills with a quick aptitude for learning new systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
