This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary liaison for the on-site Vanderlande and subcontractor teams.
• Oversee the implementation of SORTATION equipment installation from training through to completion.
• Manage the scope of subcontracted construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Report to the Site Manager and work in conjunction with Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors.
• Direct on-site installation activities for Cross-sorter EQ on intricate projects.
• Foster a safe working environment during the project duration.
• Develop the SORTATION installation plan, logistics strategy, and timeline.
• Spearhead preparations for installation commencement.
• Assign installation duties to various installation teams.
• Review scheduled tasks beforehand to avert inefficiencies.
• Adhere to process maps and manuals.
• Conduct installation and process quality assessments.
• Provide updates on project progress and status.
• Ensure a high-quality handover to commissioning.
• Assist in commissioning during testing phases.
• Coordinate site activities for the SORTATION scope leading up to customer handover.
• Manage scope-related expenses and operate within budget constraints.
• Technical education and industry experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in medium to large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with Material Handling equipment.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Willingness to work 7 days a week, as necessary.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to secure necessary badges for all project assignments, such as TSA badges for airport work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Capability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and engineering specifications.
• Competence in interpreting technical manuals to establish work procedures.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Ability to engage in substantial to extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
• Capacity to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to work at heights and navigate ladders and stairways.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to wear mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Overtime compensation after 40 hours.
