This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and document solutions with moderate complexity in line with project specifications.
• Evaluate plans, functional specifications, and conduct site visits to assess and advise on overall project needs.
• Generate estimates and quotes utilizing estimation software.
• Support customer inquiries, including Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Maintain proactive communication with colleagues, vendors, consultants, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
• Work in collaboration with the sales team to convey the value proposition of CTC products and services.
• Contribute to, review, and coordinate shop drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Identify cost-effective solutions that align with customer needs and project timelines.
• Partner with vendors to register project scopes for optimal pricing and product availability.
• Provide guidance to Sales Professionals and Project Managers regarding installation products, lead times, and availability.
• Prepare and/or review formal submittal booklets containing schematics and technical literature.
• Execute other duties as required or requested.
• Engage in the Recruit Awesome People program by referring exceptional talent.
• College degree, trade school experience, or equivalent qualifications.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales engineering, estimating, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and practices pertaining to building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Outstanding customer-centric focus and capability to perform under pressure.
• Ability to take initiative and engage in proactive approaches and improvement opportunities.
