Solutions Engineer – GIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Pathfinder solution and its application to various customer scenarios.

• Clearly and persuasively convey Pathfinder’s features in relation to user requirements.

• Organize and execute demonstration projects that highlight Pathfinder workflows and applications.

• Create technical documentation and assist in producing content for sales and marketing initiatives.

• Prepare technical proposals and responses for public tenders.

• Provide technical assistance, including live support for customers.

• Oversee and prioritize customer technical requests to aid in the product roadmap development.

• Design and facilitate customer onboarding and training sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive testing prior to releases and client deployments.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance demo projects, proof-of-concept initiatives, and tender submissions.

• Employ AI writing assistants to draft and translate technical documents and proposals.

• Leverage AI-assisted support and triage tools to manage, categorize, and prioritize customer technical inquiries.

• Integrate AI-supported testing tools into the solution's quality assurance process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing GIS in land, environmental, or infrastructure management.

• More than 2 years in a client-facing position.

• Proven experience in writing technical documentation in English.

• Proficiency in conversational English.

• Educational background in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical/scientific discipline.

• Experience in teaching or conducting technical training sessions is advantageous.

• At least 2 years of experience working with international clients in an English-speaking environment is preferred.

• Proficiency in German, Spanish, or other languages is a bonus.
