GIS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, implement, customize, integrate, and maintain geospatial applications, alongside the Intelli-Fiber platform functionalities and associated systems.

• Utilize ArcGIS and various GIS technologies to generate, maintain, update, and enhance spatial data, mapping systems, and project databases.

• Provide support for DevOps, change management, and service management processes, which include code deployment, issue resolution, and user assistance.

• Diagnose complex technical problems and carry out preventative maintenance.

• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the applications and systems being supported.

• Collaborate with project teams to assess requirements, develop solutions, lead projects as necessary, and achieve business objectives.

• Keep abreast of emerging GIS and mapping technologies.

• Foster continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and user training.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related discipline.

• Proficient in software development methodologies and application lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with large-scale system integration concepts and technical architectures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong ability to collaborate across different teams.

• Capacity to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented setting.
