Solutions Engineer – GIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Become a subject matter expert in the Pathfinder solution and its various applications for customer use cases.

• Effectively communicate the capabilities of Pathfinder in relation to user needs in a clear and persuasive manner.

• Prepare and execute demonstration projects that highlight Pathfinder’s workflows and applications.

• Create technical documentation and contribute to content for sales and marketing materials.

• Draft technical offers and responses for public tenders.

• Provide technical support, including real-time customer assistance.

• Manage and prioritize customer technical requests to aid in product roadmap planning.

• Design and conduct customer onboarding and training sessions.

• Execute comprehensive solution testing prior to releases and client implementations.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite demo projects, proof-of-concepts, and tender submissions.

• Employ AI writing assistants for the creation of technical documentation and proposals.

• Utilize AI-supported tools for managing, categorizing, and prioritizing customer technical requests.

• Integrate AI-assisted testing tools into the quality assurance process of the solution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience utilizing GIS in land, environmental, or infrastructure management.

• At least 2 years in a customer-facing position.

• Proven experience in writing technical documentation in English.

• Proficiency in conversational English.

• A degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical/scientific discipline.

• Experience in teaching or conducting technical training is a plus.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with international clients in an English-speaking environment is preferred.

• Proficiency in German, Spanish, or other languages is advantageous.
