Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.

• Design and propose customized infrastructure solutions that align with customer business goals.

• Establish and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.

• Remain informed about the latest product information.

• Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.

• Serve as a trusted IT advisor for customers in collaboration with Field Account Executives.

• Manage the solution practice pipeline by developing strategies for key prospects and securing new business.

• Identify technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services.

• Create solutions that meet customer requirements and budgets through strategic planning.

• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client contacts.

• Train and develop sales teams on technical selling, product knowledge, services, and technology trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role is necessary.

• Experience in handling complex Data Center sales opportunities.

• Capability to design data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud, hyper-converged, SDDC, IaaS/PaaS, automation, containerization, and data center management platforms.

• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, SDDC, containerization, and automation.

• Ability to communicate and market complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and articulating value propositions.

• Proficiency in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.

• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions.

• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

• Advanced certification in one or more mainstream technologies is preferred.
