This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Develop and present product demonstrations and sales pitches for Idira technology.
• Carry out proof-of-concept evaluations for potential clients.
• Highlight Idira’s unique value and differentiators to secure technical wins.
• Serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor on machine identity security solutions during sales processes.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to convey the solution's value to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions to grasp customer environments, challenges, and security objectives.
• Convert customer needs into solution architecture and deployment strategies.
• Work alongside product management and R&D to shape product direction and address customer concerns.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging DevOps tools, CI/CD practices, Agentic AI frameworks, and best practices.
• Support marketing initiatives to generate leads and boost the sales pipeline.
• Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Travel as necessary to engage with customers, participate in conferences, or lead on-site workshops.
• Over 2 years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering position, preferably in cybersecurity and/or DevOps tooling.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, large language models (LLMs), or autonomous AI workflows.
• Proficiency in development with Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell or Bash.
• Capability to work with REST APIs.
• A keen interest in the DevOps landscape and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
• Knowledge of AI orchestration, prompt engineering, or integrating AI agents into development lifecycles.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in managing and delivering detailed technical responses for RFIs and RFPs.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
• Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their secrets management systems.
• Preferred: operational experience with PKI deployment and lifecycle management.
• Preferred: previous experience with IAM, PAM, or secrets management solutions.
• Preferred: understanding of Zero Trust security models and security compliance frameworks.
• Preferred: hands-on experience in securing or deploying autonomous AI agents.
• Relevant certifications are advantageous, including Kubernetes, AWS, CyberArk Guardian, or CyberArk Defender.
• K8s certifications such as CKA or CKS and/or cloud architect certifications are highly preferred.
