Solutions Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Development and Operations teams to foster regional business growth by designing, developing, and implementing supply chain solutions that prioritize customer needs.

• Examine customer supply chains, transportation systems, and operational workflows to pinpoint opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and service enhancement.

• Oversee the implementation and configuration of Infor Nexus solutions, which includes EDI integrations, customer onboarding, and system enhancements.

• Offer subject matter expertise and facilitate customer demonstrations.

• Provide training and create operational documentation, such as SOPs, work instructions, and user guides.

• Track operational performance and compliance, proactively address issues, and support initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Assist with RFQs, proposals, and solution development efforts alongside Business Development, Global Solution Design, and various cross-functional stakeholders.

• Act as the regional point of contact for Infor Nexus and Air & Ocean Solutions inquiries, delivering ongoing operational and customer support.

• Oversee the Air & Ocean Solutions pipeline and spearhead solution design activities.

• Aid in the customer lifecycle through solution development, presentations, implementation management, onboarding, training, operational support, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, solution design, or a related area.

• Proven track record in leading cost-reduction initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Familiarity with supply chain management systems, Infor Nexus, business analytics, and process improvement methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Visio, and other business systems and technologies.

• Established ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional, and team-oriented setting.

• Regional travel is required.
