Solutions Architect – PubSec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist prospects and clients in comprehending how GitLab’s AI-driven DevSecOps platform aligns with technical needs and business objectives.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor during intricate evaluations and assist teams through their digital transformation journeys.

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams throughout the APJ region.

• Emphasize platform adoption, technical assessments, and fostering trusted relationships with customers.

• Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams to formulate technical account strategies.

• Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and validation initiatives.

• Take ownership of technical evaluations, including proofs of concept, proofs of value, solution designs, and workshops.

• Create solution architectures that align with customer environments, priorities, and operational models.

• Advise customers on continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud adoption strategies.

• Establish connections with technical practitioners and business stakeholders.

• Develop reusable technical examples, best practices, and supporting materials.

• Share customer feedback and market insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.

• Competence in conducting technical evaluations such as proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, or value stream assessments.

• Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps practices as well as continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.

• Practical experience with GitLab or comparable DevSecOps or software delivery platforms.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor technical messages for various audiences, including practitioners, technical stakeholders, and senior business executives.

• Ability to build credibility, listen attentively, and advocate for customer needs within internal teams.

• Eagerness for continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and developing expertise in GitLab, AI, and associated cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, self-managed environments, or related technical fields is a plus.
